Red Hot and Green on HGTV

Carter Oosterhouse new show Red Hot and Green

Tune in to HGTV on Wednesdays at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

Everyone says "Go Green!" but not everyone knows how to accomplish that. Frankly, "going green" can be a bit daunting. But in "Red Hot & Green," the new weekly series on HGTV, Carter and interior designer Nicole Facciuto show viewers simple ways to go green, cut energy costs, and still achieve a great looking space.

Viewers will learn about the latest in green gear and sustainable design, plus tips to help every homeowner cut costs through the 3 R's: Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle. In the premiere episode, the duo tackled an out-of-date kitchen, turning it into a beautiful, eco-friendly oasis using cork flooring, faux concrete countertops made from recycled paper, and a stunning stack-stone backsplash.

Each week, Carter and Nicole demonstrate how to be environmentally conscious without sacrificing style. From wallpaper and coffee tables made of recycled sea grass, bamboo, and paper, to environmentally-friendly alternatives to common design products and household items, "Red Hot & Green" demonstrates how décor can be friendly to the environment, easy on your wallet, and great to look at and live in!
