Carter's Team Wins on HGTV's "Showdown"
Carter Oosterhouse paired up with designer Genevieve Gorder and went head-to-head with carpenter Eric Stromer and designer Monica Pedersen to make over a couple's family room on HGTV's "Showdown." Homeowners Clair and Joseph Koroma chose Carter and Genevieve's design, crowning them the winners.
Each team had four hours to create a replica of the original room and turn it into something that suited the needs of both members of the couple. The Koromas loved what Genevieve and Carter did with the space, especially the separate seating areas. They felt the room combined both of their design styles perfectly.
