'Where do I begin?' Thats a sure way to make someone lose interest from the start huh lol... the classic intro to the longwinded... whatever this is. Seriously, hi! Carter Oosterhouse lol, I feel silly, probably cause I AM, but you seem to be pretty silly yourself so... Okay, today I was listening in to WNPR and they were discussing how global warming and the emission of CO2 will by mid-century make it impossible for Coral Reef to survive. Doesn't that break your heart... to think that our children, and by that I DO MEAN the ones you and I are going to have and share lol, seriously, doesn't it totally suck to know that at the rate we are going as a careless and 0 global community, the only way the future's children will know what a coral reef is (among other things) will be through scientists who have concocted a way to create and preserve them, showcase them in museums. They discussed how relevant it is to the demise of nature how we choose to produce energy... and the host asked if i

Hi Carter,I am a new viewer to your show 'Carter Can' and I just love it! I admit it was your brown eyes that caught my attention, but now I am so impressed with your knowledge and the way you teach as you work. You seem so patient and actually interested in the people you help. That is such a wonderful gift. My husband and I just moved into my parents 40yr old home to take care of them. The house needs lots of updating and fix ups. We both work, so it's taking a while! We'll get there, but if you're ever looking for a 'worthy cause' in Louisville, KY- we're here! (Grin)We will continue to enjoy your show and look forward to learning. Much luck on all your shows! Michele

Hey Carter-I've been a fan of yours since Trading Spaces and am thrilled that you now have your own show! I love how you explain things so that I can actually understand what you're doing! Congratulations on this exciting endeavor and if you're ever filming in the Jersey Shore I could find a project or two for you!!

Good evening, Carter! I just registered with your website because I wanted to thank you on behalf of all the people you're helping, especially with the kids' charities. I believe success is when someone else is better off because of you--and you're definitely a success according to that definition. I'm a fellow Michigan native, and I'm blessed to head back there for Christmas, and it sure means a lot to me to be able to. Here's hoping you get to spend a blessed Christmas with your family, too! God bless, and keep up the great work. p.s. I have Dutch ancestors with the name Oosterhouse. Maybe we're distantly related! :)

Dear Carter, please thank you parents for giving you such a handsome face and such useful skills, did you learn carpentry from a family member? I am emailing you with the hopes you could help me help my husband (Tom), he is my best friend and has taken care of his family, in fact he has worked two jobs for the last 15 years. This has allowed him to put a roof over our heads, feed everyone, put one of our kids through private school (he is now a Marine, but through the grace of God stationed state side). Tom has finally quite the second job which is wonderful, he deserves some down time, the dilema is it will mean less money. The house we live in is circa 1970, and we have done little remodeling as the kid came first, example we still have harvest gold counter tops in the kitchen, and i know its coming back but ...., if you could help him redo this kitchen, he has lots of carpentry skills and has built homes in the past, but the energy you have at 20 isnt matched when your looking d
