Carter Kids and M-22 challange

So as you can tell by the pictures we had a pretty good time with the kids at the latest Carters Kids function and a new thing we did this year called the M-22 challenge for kids.  We had the put the new playground in a city called Frankfort which sits on Lake Michigan.  The race we had for the kids was held by the sand dunes not to far from Frankfort.  For those that don't know, in Michigan we have the sand dunes and that is what you see in the background of one of the pictures.  It is an amazing state park and climbing the hill is something that I have done many of times.  Believe it or not I have actually snow boarded down the sand dunes.  Putting all the equipment together went well lots of help from volunteers and the kids loved it.  I look at some of this stuff that we get to install for the kids and it makes me think back to what kids had before stuff like this.  I recall rusty swings, old tires and railroad ties.  We have come a long way since then and every install is a blessing to be able to do.  If you do get a chance to head up to northern Michigan the sand dunes should be a definite stop.

hello carter,

i've been watching CARTER CAN in our lifetstyle network here in the philippines and everytime i get to see a transformed house, kitchen, living room, bedroom... i kind of get envious for i have been planning to have my small house fixed (kitchen doesn't have its roof, needs terrace, all parts of the house have no furniture) but i dont have the budget. would it be possible that shows like yours can do it for me in exchange for a good episode? kind of just like a wishful thinking... but hoping for it to become true :)

Hi DavidGreat photos!! My faorvite was the first one the blue sky and clouds with the sand dune just make for a very interesting shot!!!I like photography myself but still not so good at it. Most of mine tend to be from Tibet rallies here in NYC so each year they seem to improve. Just hard to do with constant changing lighting and always on the move to the next rally point HA HA but they do improve as I learn new tricks!!Dave
